Voiceofageneration.org has partnered with Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) Orange County for a story drive in September. The plan is to train BBBS staff this summer and launch a story drive this fall. The target is 50 stories through the BBBS Site-based Mentoring Program. Stories will be told from the perspective of the "Bigs" and the "Littles."

BBBS's mission is to help children reach their potential through professionally supported one-to-one relationships that have a measurable impact. Their vision is successful mentoring relationships for all children who need and want them, contributing to brighter futures, better schools and stronger communities. In site-based mentoring programs, Bigs and Littles meet for one-to-one mentoring in the classroom, school library, school computer room or other set location. Bigs and Littles typically meet once a week to read together, play sports or computer games, or simply talk about life and personal issues – just as friends do. Now they will celebrate that relationship by writing stories about the impact the program has had on their respective lives.
