The Foundation's first pilot program was successfully completed in the first quarter of 2009. A second program at the Boys and Girls Club of San Clemente will begin soon. Ten children participated in the pilot, with four authors publishing their first books (pictured with Foundation staff and volunteers below). Twenty-two new kids have signed up for the next round. The foundation is targeting an additional 20 organizations to participate in story drives for the second quarter of 2009.
